A very warm welcome… Thank you for visiting!
Each of us has within us a place of inner peace, deep knowing and profound wellbeing. It is our birthright. I have spent a lifetime learning how to access this state and share it with others.
In these challenging times it is easy to feel anxious and isolated. As a life coach specializing in helping others find meaning and purpose, I can help you make the shift from ego to essence, connect to a vast field of joy and unconditional love and infuse this state of being into your daily life and work in the world
A central theme of my life has been bridging spiritual experience with social transformation. It is my great delight and passion to empower you on your journey towards personal, spiritual and social fulfillment.
I have been a seeker my whole life. I’ve been
Drawn to spiritual teachings that acknowledge that there is something more to life than the material world, I longed to know the Great Spirit/Creator/God and to know my own inner landscape.
When I was a child, I played most of the time outdoors in the sun, rain and snow. I didn’t know it then, but I was learning from nature… from the streams, the plants and the trees, the elements.
Later, I learned to surf and enjoyed riding waves! In high school, I worked towards taking down racial barriers between black and white students. I became involved with the human potential movement and politics. I moved to the West Coast and worked with The farm workers movement and Caesar Chavez for social justice.
I’ve learned from Christianity, Buddhism, Shamanism, Earth Spirituality, Yoga and Conscious Evolution. Conscious Evolution is a path about being human beings who know we are at cause of our own lives and our reality. We are in a planetary crisis and it is up to us to bring us through and out. Crisis is a birth… and an evolutionary driver. What are we birthing? What wants to birth through us?
I have learned many practices along the way and am eager to share them. Prayer, meditation, yoga and much inner work. Having a guide helps. I learn from my inner Guides and from the earth. I have learned to be quiet enough to listen. The earth is my teacher. I walk in nature and connect with the birds, the trees, the sky, the water and sometimes, I lie down to feel the earth against my belly and I feel connected, nourished and calm. We live in extraordinary times. There is so much change all around us and within us. We are evolving and we are emerging.
How do we keep a clear mind and a peaceful heart amidst all the change?
It is my hearts desire to connect with other seekers. You may know something is going on, but have no idea what it might be and you may be feeling a myriad of symptoms such as anxiety, depression, sleeplessness, body aches and pains, and fear.
One of my teachers in this life time is the Dalai Lama. How lucky we are to be alive at the same time this great being walks the earth. He is WISDOM, LOVE, JOY personified and he shares it freely with all. I was on the West lawn of the capital in Washington DC with my daughter and some friends listening to him addressing a crowd of about 10,000. He began like this:
“Human Beings have many problem… can not get through life with no problem.
I myself have many problem….
at age 6, I lost my freedom, At age 26, I lost my own country…
Still, I find way to have clear mind… peaceful heart.
If I can do… you can do”
It is my intention to offer skills, insights and resources to help you find a clear mind and a peaceful heart. The true nature of mind is to be clear, but like a pond in a rainstorm, it gets murky. The pond becomes clear again when the debris settles to the bottom.
When we meditate and engage in spiritual practice, we enable the debris of our mind to settle.
If you resonate with any of this, call or e-mail me to explore how we might work together.
Love and light,
Lin
