Welcome

A very warm welcome… Thank you for visiting  !

Each of us has within us a place of deep knowing, peace and profound well being.  I have spent a lifetime learning how to access this state and in turn, share it with others.

In these challenging times it is easy to feel anxious and isolated. As a life coach specializing in helping others find meaning and purpose, I can help you make the shift from ego to essence, connect to a vast field of joy and unconditional love and infuse this state of being into your daily life and work in the world.

A central theme of my life has been bridging spiritual experience with social transformation. We do not need to choose one or the other. They are connected as we have been taught by all of the great spiritual teachers… Mahatma Gandhi, Thich Nhat Hanh, and the Dalai Lama.  The personal is political.

It is my great delight and passion to empower you on your journey towards personal, spiritual and social fulfillment.

I have been a seeker my whole life.  I’ve been
drawn to spiritual teachings that acknowledge that there is something more to life than the material world, I long to know the Great Spirit/Creator/God  and to know my own inner landscape.
When I was a child,  I played most of the time outdoors in the sun, rain and snow. I didn’t know it then, but I was learning from nature… from the streams, the plants and the trees, the elements.
Later, I learned to surf. Riding waves is a great metaphor for life… it requires practice, concentration, effort, and balance.  In high school, I worked towards taking down racial barriers between black and white students. I became involved with the human potential movement, and the peace movement.  I moved to the West Coast and worked with  Caesar Chavez and the farm workers movement.
I’ve learned from Christianity, Buddhism, Shamanism, Earth Spirituality, Yoga and Conscious Evolution.  Conscious Evolution is asking “what and how do we want to co-create in our own lives, in our families and in our world”?

I have learned many practices along the way and am eager to share them with you.  In my practice, I use guided meditation.  Although I have had many teachers,  I learn from my inner Guides. I have learned to be quiet enough to listen. The earth is my teacher.  I walk in nature and connect with the birds, the trees, the sky, the water. Sometimes, I lie down to feel the earth against my belly to feel connected, nourished and calm. We live in extraordinary times.  There is so much change all around us and within us.  We are evolving and we are emerging.
How do we keep a clear mind and a peaceful heart amidst all the change and challenge?

It is my hearts desire to connect with other seekers like you.  You may know something is going on, but have no idea what it is. You may be feeling a myriad of symptoms such as anxiety, depression, sleeplessness, body aches and pains, and fear. You are certainly not alone.

It is my intention to offer skills, insights and resources to help you find a clear mind and a peaceful heart. The true nature of mind is to be clear, but like a pond in a rainstorm, it gets murky.  The pond becomes clear again when the debris settles to the bottom.
When we meditate and engage in spiritual practice, we enable the debris of our mind to settle.

If you resonate with any of this, call or e-mail me to explore how we might work together.

Love and light,

Lin
